Driving Lessons in Brighton & Hove

All our driving lessons are on a one to one basis, we never car share. Driving lessons can last from one hour upwards. To begin with, we advise that students undertake two hour driving lessons once or twice a week. We can then tailor your driving lessons around your specific needs.

 

Getting Started – Your Provisional Driving License

In order to begin driving lessons you must obtain a Provisional Driving License. You can apply for one online, by post or in person. You will need a passport style photo of yourself, proof of identity and a fee of £34 online or £43 by post (subject to change) payable to the DVLA. The form required for postal application is called a D1 and is available from the Post Office.

Beginners Driving

Each driving lesson is fully tailored to the individual and progress is kept up to date on a track record. Booking in advance enables you to arrange your driving lessons around your life.

 

Intensive Courses

Intensive courses are for pupils who want to learn at a much faster pace. Intensive training can be very demanding on pupils as there is a lot to cover within a shorter time period. It is best to discuss intensive courses with your driving instructor before booking such a course.

 

Refresher Courses

Refresher driving lessons are available to those who have already passed their test but would like some further tuition. This may be because of a gap in driving, for building confidence in a particular aspect of driving, or even brushing up on a manoeuvre such as bay parking.

 

Pass Plus

Pass Plus is taken after you have passed your test and is intended to improve and build your confidence in driving. There is no test at the end so you cannot fail. Pass Plus consists of six categories:

• Motorway Driving

• Dual Carriageway Driving

• Town Driving

• Out of Town Driving and Rural Roads

• All Weather Driving

• Night Driving

 

Not only will Pass Plus help with your confidence in driving, it can also save you hundreds of pounds on insurance (you may be able to receive cashback on the cost of the Pass Plus course. Speak to one of our driving instructors).

 

Motorway Lessons

Motorway lessons are available to those students who have passed their test yet want more experience on motorways. Some drivers may want to improve their confidence. These sessions are available for two or three hour driving lessons.
